Yoga is the path in which one finds their true self and develops value to all things. My wish is to guide you through your own self discovery and provide a stepping stone for you to reach your potential.

I recall my first experiences with yoga as intimidating. Being shy and reluctant to practice yoga in public, I started practicing yoga on a Wii fit at home. Eventually building the confidence to attend studio classes and with help, I was able to recognize the benefits, physical and mental. I attended Bikram training in 2012 and was a familiar face on the competition circuit, where I placed in the top 5 of USA Men for 3 years.

I aim to teach a strong, technical class, but to also keep things lighthearted and friendly. Come take class and we’ll have fun!

Abdulvahid

Attended Fall 2013 Teacher Training

Abdulvahid grew up in a small village town in middle Anatolia- Turkey. As he was introduced to martial arts and sports before he could even speak, Vahid found himself engaging most of his time and energy in understanding and controlling his body. Born into deep mystic world of sufism, he sees many parallels between the Sufi whirling and yoga asana, both moving meditations designed to allow the practitioner to transcend beyond the physical body. He expresses that spiritual growth through Sufi teachings goes hand in hand with Yogic Philosophy. He is enrolled in Maryland University of Integrative Health doing a masters degree in Yoga Therapy.

Jessica

Attended Fall 2015 Teacher Training

I was introduced to the hot room in November 2014 and completed Bikram Yoga Teacher Training in Fall 2015, Khao Lak Thailand. Both of these instances were the best decisions I have made. Although I am just beginning my journey into Bikram’s yoga, this sequence builds such a profound connection between mind, body, and spirit each time I practice – it’s unreal. My hope is to share what I learn in my personal practice through my teaching.
